Broomfield, I know where that is. There are 2 extra budgie cages here in Franktown if they still need a home, if they are the birds I'm thinking of. Will trade for a couple roos!?!

Silkies got caught in the rain

Wendell I had a chance to pick up the Dom chick this morning and it appears to have a single comb, sorry. Heard new hatch peeps under the broody this evening, will let you know if I see another Dom chick out tomorrow.

Preston, were you able to pick up the Guinea keets today? I PMd Wynette just now to let her know I would pick them up in the morning if they are still there, whatever is still alive, unless someone else has already been able to get them. Guinea keets are pretty close to chicken chick size and grow larger, they are famous for their ... different call, as well as their affinity for ticks, snakes, and other pesky critters. I have had them twice in the past, they are rather prehistoric looking, but if they stay around very useful. They can get enough elevation to alight on the roof once able to fly.

I have to pick up parts from Wagner in Pueblo at 7, get them to the LF at exit 119, then can head to Broomfield if they are still there. Will bring water and food with me. If they are there and alive they will be very dehydrated and hungry. Poor babies.
