Those are some great looking LF Cochins! My Splash roo needs a new home as I lost his mate last fall, but unfortunately, he's a Bantam. (But he loves a good challenge!!

Yes! Thank you for braving the cold so we could look at your pretty chickens. I love the fluffy undies on those things

lor,
I know there's someone in Falcon who advertised a blue cochin roo LF on CL not long ago, I am heading that way tomorrow for chicks, she also has some splash, and frizzle and is working on a beautiful blue/rust calico. Hope that helps. btw those girls are quite lovely!

My DW is looking for one of those too.

Farmerlor, you need to get someone to take a picture of something besides their fuzzy butts. You should ask your DH to take a picture for you. He seems like a really special guy.

Noticed quite a few mentioning about the water freezing. I bought heated dog bowls from Big R. They are normally $15.99 but if you watch they put them on sale for $10.99 quite a bit. In the 20 something below weather they did not even freeze. They work great!! Of course you will need a power source or could drag an extension cord out.
