Our temps dipped to -57 yesterday morning! At least that's what the weather news said...our thermom doesn't go under -40. I can't actually tell any particular difference between -30 and -60 myself!

*But* I've gotten eggs every day this week.

Speaking of chicks... Anyone else picking up chicks from the Elizabeth Country Corner? I can't wait! I'm getting three and they're suppost to be there in two weeks!

On which note; anyone know how accurate Privett's sexing is? I'm trying to figure out if I should pick up an 'extra' in case one turns rooish.

Nope, Sandhill is sending our replacement order in April, so we won't need to purchase any extra

I just called them today to order some coturnix quail. Not sure when they are coming in. I told them I wasn't in any big hurry and I was flexible about the date though.​

Ah! I also have some coming in a few weeks from a local breeder. I should be up to my armpits in quail in no time! LOL
