Spellcheck on my device does not like the word pullet, comes out pulley no matter what I type.

same issues with my iPad...frustrating.

So I must admit that I can be ignorant of a lot of texting acronyms and internet slang. It's sometimes a source of endless teasing from my students, and embarrassing at times I must admit.

I asked a question in a thread and the reply was "Rmf". I asked what "Rmf" means, but no reply....

So.....What does "Rmf" mean?

...I just don't get it.

I even tried to Google it, but I couldn't find a result that fit the context....

@Robilyn81 Welcome to the Colorado thread. Good looking bunch you got there.

@madileana Wow! great job treating Bandit. Which, by the way, is an awesome name. How did she get that name?

@Rock Home Isle I don't usually use short hand and don't know what most mean but the only meaning of RMF I know of is rich mother f*. I'll let you figure out what the f stands for. Definitely not a term I would ever use. But it could mean something else, depending on the context.

Some exciting news today, I got my first quail eggs. Just shy of six weeks. I don't know yet how many females I have in total but I got two little eggs this morning. I'll probably have to separate them soon as the boys are starting to get a little feisty. They still have two more weeks to grow out. Gives me a little more time to mentally prepare.

Here's a few shots of my girls from their first trip outside a while back.

I wish I could take Badit for Bandit's name, but my 12 year old daughter named her. She hand picked her from the brooder at Buckly's.

BTW your babies are so cute my mouth is foaming!!

@kingkoopa Exactly what does RMF mean/what do the initials stand for? "That Zone I'm In" would maybe be TZII... What does each initial stand for? What kind of zone? Time zone is MST/MDT/etc... RMF isn't a growing zone abbreviation... Sorry, but I'm lost too...

Kingkoopa had a notice posted on her door that she needs to get rid of her chickens. The ordinance regarding the keeping of poultry where she lives is dependent upon the zoning code of where you live.

Unfortunately zone RMF does not allow the keeping of any kin of poultry.

That's a total load. They should make it more clear for people. It's amazing to me that the city can dictate what people are allowed to have in their back yards. Some jerk neighbor must have turned her in.
