Should be a beautiful day down in the valley too.

Breathing...., just keep breathing too! Data? Making up data? That all sounds a bit weird.....
Just to boldly insert my 2¢ in here re: accommodation for disabilities. I have had a lot of experience dealing with obtaining and utilizing accommodations, both for myself and disabled clients and the tactic they are using is commonplace. It's "we don't want to deal with you and your accommodations so we will now accuse you of committing fraud or behaving in a fraudulent manner. Mine was "false documentation". Once these accusations have been made and HR is unresponsive, it's basically time to file with the EEOC. Of course, I wouldn't expect much in our current political climate. I'm sure the EEOC is going the way of the DOE, EPA, and the National Park Service any day now. That leaves the Labor Board and finding a way to sue without EEOC sanction. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this, but make them run you off, don't leave if you can stand it. Then go apply for your SSDI since you probably qualify anyway.Yeah. Tuesday I had a meeting with the HR rep to go over the paperwork she had me & my dr fill out for my accommodations. Just to make sure everything was complete & that we explained everything. HR rep tells me I qualify for the accommodations (especially since I've been using them since coming back to work from the car wreck 2yrs ago) & that there shouldn't be any problems getting this done quickly. She met with the manager & supervisor that have been discriminating me & they denied to agree to my accommodations & stated they needed more information from my dr. The next day, my supervisor is accusing me of falsifying data on the audit I run. I have a meeting with a disability discrimination lawyer tomorrow. I couldn't get anyone at HR to call me back after the accusation & didn't know what else to do. :/
to all the new people! Can't wait to see pictures of everyone's flocks!
We have been overrun with barn swallows & mice this winter & I found poultry live on 2 of my chickens during yesterday's bimonthly check up. Only had the energy to get the main coop cleaned out/sprayed down today, hoping it'll still be warm on Wednesday to get the other 2 coops done. Got all the adult bird dusted & attempted to dust the peafowl (not too confident I got them well enough). Fingers crossed I caught it early enough.
I've got at least 2 of the adults laying eggs now. Still nothing from the peahens, but the peacock has been upping his tail shaking game so hopefully something will happen there soonish. I really want to raise some peachicks!
Stunning haul!!!My reward for dumpster diving. 600# free feed.![]()
If you give up in Denver, Feeder Supply in FC will special order in ducklings for you. She uses Privett for chicks and guess she gets her ducks from there as well. No minimum and no up charging. They will sex their ducklings. The local bird swaps are starting back up but you never know what you'll find. There's also a Colorado poultry FB page out there.Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and was recommended to join the Coloradoans page. I live in Aurora! Currently have a flock of 4 and are looking into getting some Cayuga ducklings soon. Currently having a hell of a time finding them locally. Most farm supply stores have no idea what they carryany help us much appreciated!!
Thank you! Her name is Nabisco, like the cookie company. She is a non-stop talker! I have told my husband, if we ever get a noise complaint, it would be caused by her. Even with all the squaking, she's still a great gal.Welcome Jessie!
I can't help you with feedstores locally. Your Wyandotte in your profile picture is so pretty! I'm thinking of buying some in a few weeks!
