I know a woman out of Byers who has wonderful birds! They are very healthy and all the ones I got seemed to be of very good stock. I'd not know what she may have this time of year but if you want her info I can PM you. Let me know.

Hi Folks,

Are there any non hatchery breeders of Light Brahmas here in colorado? I am in unincorporated Adams County with a Broomfield address ... just in case someone is close, but I will travel. I have Light Brahmas from 2 different hatcheries, the first ones are big heavy birds with good form or anyway to my untrained eye, but the feather is not good too much dark feathers in the wrong places, the hens from the other hatchery are beautifully feathered, however they are kinda small for a Brahma and have tent tails not the U shaped ones, I had thought about breeding to what I want, but I am getting old and breeding from a good line and culling would take less of the few years I have left to raise chickens. Any help is much appreciated.
