Colorado

bnward5,

cici in Grand Junction has a 4 week old Pekin girl that she said needed a good home. In her post above I think it said they were coming down here on Friday. Not sure where you're located but also look on Craigslist. Good luck.

Hi fellow coloradoans! Im new to the chicken game...I would like my chickens to be fed organicly. Does anyone know where to get some chicken feed that is organic? I am in the denver metro area.
I have a Rhode Island red and a Blue andelusian! Im super happy!

fellow Arvadan!!! I think there's a place in Longmont that sells organic. I've seen the ad on Craigslist.

She is such a cutie! A year ago we'd have jumped at the chance to get her but we've got all the kitties we need right now. Good luck finding her a good home.

Another possibility... this coming Saturday at the Franktown Be Quick feedstore is a community swapmeet and people are always looking for kittens.

How do you hear about all these things Chirpy???
What a great place to try and find her a home. I think I will go there on Saturday. Do you know what time?

I just keep my ears open and I'm kinda a talker (did you figure that out when you visited?

) so I get into conversations with people in stores. I found that Be Quick has better prices than the other feed stores around here and the people are really nice.

The swap meet is from 8:00 to 4:00 although Tex said that most people start packing up around 2:00. Our 4H club may be there selling hot dogs and such as a fund raiser. They are having these swaps once a month now.

Hehe! I didn't notice that you were quite the talker. Maybe because I am that way too.....so you seem very normal to me! Hehe!

Great to know about their prices. I am always looking for lower prices on feed. I will try to be there around 9am on Saturday morning. Hopefully we will see each other.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it!

TO ALL COLORADO SPRINGS RESIDENTS!!

I'll be moving to the Springs in June and have chicks now that I'm planning to move over there. Where do you get your feed? I've been looking online and it looks like there's a feed store in Falcon(?) but I was wondering if there are any places closer that sell feed and supplies. Please PM me if you can!

Thanks!!
