HI Pozees,Welcome! What kind of hens are you hoping for?
I like the looks and the stuff I have read about Sussex but, willing to try any of the beginner breeds.

So my wife said if I could sell some of my ak 47 stuff I can buy an incubator... I can't wait! I've been reading reviews and checking prices. The one I think I want is the farm innovators 4200. It's on Amazon for $129.94 with free shipping. Unless any one knows where I can get it locally for a similar price? Or if someone wants to recommend a different model?
Big R in Pueblo has it for $20 more.
Do you know what % tax they charge down there? I hate waiting for things to come in the mail I may just go get it.. Lol
Did I miss a welcome to the Colorado thread? Its beginning to be hard to keep up!HI Pozees,

Just got back from Big R... Every time I see someone in the chicken isle I want to tell them about BYC.. But then I realize most people aren't chicken crazy and retreat into my shell... Any way, I found out the brands they sell. They have 2 brands and they are exactly the same price: $55.99. The auto turners for these have the same price as well: 49.99. I took a picture of each box for you.

Lost my old rooster this afternoon. He was fine this morning, but I found him just before "bed check". No blood, no sign of struggles, considering I adopted a young roo this past summer that turned out to be the spittin' image of him. They got along well. Still, kinda sad. At least it was a nice warm day for him to go to sleep.
