I candled my LF silver Ameraucana eggs from Jerry Segler. Out of 12 eggs, 10 eggs look great. I'm so excited! I want a good cockerel or 2 and a couple more pullets.

Wendell, what are we going to do with him. How many hens do you have with him? I'm starting to wonder about him.
Farmer Jim feeds in Falcon had some Polish Crested on Friday.
I am in Texas, so getting updates from hubby and kids....
Minchi, talked to my friend who sold a house in Parker, he said the part of Parker that's in Elbert County, and especially Delbert Road he thinks, should be chicken friendly. He recommends a realtor named Jace Glick who works for Remax.
if aurora is close enough to make the boss happy, then elizabeth probably is too. the traffic from aurora to dtc is horrid, so time wise, it will probably take long to get to the dtc from aurora than it would from elizabeth or franktown.
The only house that we found that fit so far in Elizabeth does not allow chickens, and one other that would have worked but it is a 55+ community. South Aurora was a consideration but not any more, after my dealings I will not live there, ever. We are looking at Parker, Highlands Ranch, and Littleton areas. Maybe fringe of Parker Elizabeth.
Haven't checked lately but Pollard's on Parker Road usually has young uns late into the season. Have only ever seen sturdy dual purpose birds there though, so depends on what you are looking for.Farmer Jim feeds has Polish Chickens and Americanas still. They are getting ready to put in an order for more today!
