Chirpy,
This info hasn't been posted yet, so thanks for posting it! Is there a fee to go, to look around? I don't have anything for sell, but I'll probably buy!

I don't know. I got the info from my feedstore this morning. I would suggest e-mailing and asking.

It did say there would be judging so this is some type of show but I assume there would still be people selling chickens.

My ducks are too busy keeping up with the one drake without adding a roo to the mix

I did it! Hubby sent me to the Big R in Elizabeth for alfalfa cubes for the horses and I came home with four Bourbon Turkey babies. Yes, I KNOW I have turkey eggs in the 'bator and more turkey eggs coming but they're not BOURBON Turkeys and these were only 4.99 each. Gotta love Turkey babies. So NOW, I have chickens, turkey babies, chicken babies, Goose eggs, duck eggs (Thanks Wifezilla), and turkey eggs. Let's see......think I'm needin' me some goats.....

My brother lives in Cheyenne, WY. He is building his first chicken coop! He needs to know if he should insulate the chicken house or will the chicken house be okay with plenty of cedar chips and straw? Thank You

I think I've heard that cedar chips are a bad thing but I didn't really pay attention since I've always used pine shavings anyway. Probably a good idea to insulate up there in Wyo unless he wants to run a heat lamp on the really cold nights. We used a heat lamp this winter and the girlies kept right on laying through the winter.
