Colorado

Lol, that's the only place I've seen any out here. Quite the mental image though, grab his little hobo bag, throw it over his shoulder and say he's off to the mountains to go gambling or whatnot.

High wind advisories in effect past my work exit on I-70 as well. Bet the truckers aren't happy but oh well. I'm sitting here in my nice warm scale house, drinking tea and snacking on pemmican, only popped out for some air a minute ago. Warming up pretty nice! Think I'll work on the coop a tiny bit tonight if I can get away from some of the cooking. Installing new nest boxes, need to buy a bag of hay on the way home tonight along with general grocery shopping. Can do a week's worth of grocery shopping in half an hour flat (including waiting in line) if I have a list ready to go. Tangent...

This past weekend we built a hoop coop to replace the one my chicken math outgrew. Had it assembled and covered in less than three hours. Total cost around $100 for all materials. We already had cattle panels on hand that we got for free, so that was awesome. But... still getting the roost boards installed and need to add the nest boxes. The girls all went on strike yesterday, poor fluffy butts.

Saw one of those tiny coops like you get at tsc smashed in the middle of southbound I-25 last night on my way home. First instinct: scanned the area for loose chickens, lol.
