I was at the Falcon Big R today picking up food. They gave me this sign for free because I bought Purina brand. They had two other styles to pick from.

I was there too. I sold everything except a pair of Saxony but I’ve got someone from Craigslist interested. Next year I’d like to hatch more and try selling more pullets. Money’s better than trying to sell eggs.

Anyone interested in 3 month old Buff Orpington cockerels (young rooster)? I have 7. They hatched June 30 2018.
Also I have a hen with 10 chicks, three I'm sure are males, I need to sell. The chicks hatched July 23 & 24, 2018. Anyone interested in the hen/chick package?

Got some new chickens!

I finally got a set of large Garden Chicken/Chicks to not explode in the kiln! These are probably the only new chickens I’ll be getting until I get my house built.

They are supposed to be all hens, but one has a big comb and behaves like a rooster. My plan is to raise them to about 3-4 months old; this way they would be past the heat lamp stage and I can guarantee sex. Right now only two of them are without a heat lamp but still sleep in a bunch with six other slightly older BO roos. I've got a lot invested in them, about $250 each.

Here's the babies now at 5 and 8 weeks. One of the bigger ones is a cockerel. You are welcome to have him anytime. Not sure where you are. I am in Evergreen, but will be at a show on Saturday in Longmont/Boulder area.

So adorable! I’m going to be in Golden on Saturday (I’m located near Brighton). How long will the show be going on?
