Going with EEs. Getting chickens for eggs (yum). Can only have 8 (coop size) so, with all the variation in colors, it will be like having 8 different kinds. Had to order 15 (plus the packing peanut that will be added) so I'll be posting about the 7 I have to give up

That's why I raise EEs. You got all the same breed, they're even purebreds but they're all different colors and SO cute with their little puffy cheeks and beards and cool egg colors. Gotta love 'em! I've got two other breeds that I breed (RIRs, BOs) and I do love them too but who can tell them apart? At least with the EEs you can say "y'know, that one with the blue lacing and the gray beard...." and everyone knows which bird you're talking about.

Am I hallucinating or is it actually NOT raining at the moment?

On that note, I need to get out of the office pronto and enjoy it while it lasts.

I have to go to the Greeley Swap Saturday morning to try to sell some of the Runner ducklings.

I promised my husband I wouldn't keep them. But he said I shouldn't try to sell them all at once because it would be too big a shock to Mommy duck ! Anybody want some ducklings? Fawn and White plus Chocolate Runners.
