sent you a e-mail- jdopler, did not realize you were colorado till I checked this thread. I am not at the Stock Show this year, and probably won't be going in the future until they put the show back onto a Saturday like everyone else does. They just make it too difficult for poultry people there to show. Used to be check in was Friday, show was saturday and pick up on sunday, which is hard enough when you have to work for a living, not to mention you have the entry fee $4.00 I think this year? Which is crazy as I can do the double show in October for that price, that per bird, then you have the exhibitor pass, which has always been like $20 roughly and then the parking permit which is no great deal as we STILL have to pay for it (Another 25 dollars I think) and still have to walk a mile to the parking areas. I could understand if the exhibitors could park up by the building, but really? Some years its on the bottom floor, but other years its been on the 3rd floor and if you have 30 birds, that quite a stretch as they only give you an hour to check in before you have to move your car to the lot areas.
I do not raise Ameraucanas any longer, and everyone that I know of in CO that has Ameraucanas has EE's not pures. except for Kathy Hobbs, who has what I sold off to her of my blacks, but she is not on line and not a member of the CPA.
