Thats great where are you located? And I do only want hens so I may have to wait until you can tell the difference in the sex. I cant have roosters in city limits.

Wow I live in PW and didn't even know about this. Don't think we will be able to make it though as we have soccer and tball games tomorrow. Don't really need any more animals and would only have about 6 chicks that I could sell right now!!

We have 70 or so chicks/chickens. We need to pare it down because it took me 45 minutes this morning to go through the swamp to feed and water the goats and chickens, and push the tons of water off the tarps. Every moment I'm outside caring for the critters means I'm not with my son who may or may not be having a seizure.

Plus I need the money.

Problem is, I do want to keep some chickens but with our chicks, I can't tell male or female. Can someone come over and help me identify? I'll give you a couple of chicks (or some eggs) in return for your help. We're in rural Elizabeth, off CR 29, about 1 hour SE of Denver.

We have ameraucana/egger cross, egger/black australorp cross, black australorps, cuckoo marans, leghorns, bantam blue silkies, buff orpingtons, and so forth.

Once our goats kid, I'm gonna have to find a way to convince my husband that we need to get rid of them too. ALL of them.
