coloured

Hi Phil,

Are you thinking of green and blue? Ameraucanas, Araucanas and Cream Legbars lay blue eggs, Isbars lay green, and Easter Eggers can lay anything depending on what the parents were. (EEs usually have a blue egg layer in their makeup, but sometimes the gene gets lost.)

To reliably get blue eggs, you need to get birds from a breeder, since most from feed stores labeled "Americana" or "Ameraucana" really are EEs.

By coloured do you mean blue and green?
Amaracanas (not sure if I spelled that right) and cream legbars lay blue eggs.
Easter eggs lay blue or green eggs (sometimes other colors). Olive eggers lay dark green eggs. And Black copper marans lay Chocolate looking eggs. I'm sure theirs others that was off the top of my head.
