Colourful and Unusual Chicken Eggs!

Ha! Today Babette gave me a brown egg with dark brown AND light pink speckles!! I think I need a thread just where I can post a daily picture of what she lays!

When my first Olive Egger started laying, she laid this egg with big spots on it. I wanted to blow it out... but I think it got eaten :(

And my dad has a habit of writing dates on even the prettiest eggs with permanent marker!

NO DAD! No permanent marker! ;):lol:
I use pencil and if it's one I know I want to save the shell, put it somewhere else. Not in with the other to be eaten eggs.
Hahaha yep pencil’s a better idea.
I’m much more careful now :lol:
Oh and I’ve got a fairy egg that I’m going to save to be blown out... haha don’t think that’s ones at risk
