Well just figured out my 1st set of 4 rir's are actually Columbian black tails lol. I know I should expect around 300 eggs a year. but when should I expect them to begin laying They are currently 14-15 weeks old not sure of exact hatch date. I think that our biggest hen has begun submissive squatting though. Could they lay this early??? I was thinking we had a few more weeks at least.

Black Tailed Columbian is actually a name for a color found on chickens, not a breed, ALL of RIR are Columbian and sometimes also called Black Tailed Reds, so calling them Black Tailed columbian is ok too
