Comb damage

My two roosters got in a fight yesterday and one of them had damage done to his comb,its all black this morning I asume form loss of blood.Will the color come back,will he loose his comb ?They are now and forever seperated.

Everything should be fine! if you could post a picture that would help but its not necessary my rooster's would fight a lot before we culled them. most of the time the injury was small just a little comb blood and a small piece missing, after a while it's color came back and everything was great! i recommend next time your at a feed store look for a bottle of vetericyn its a little pricey but does wonders its safe and non toxic humans can even eat it! anyway just keep an eye on it it should be fine
