Comb getting black spots.

Our first season with chickens! All is going great once we learned predator pattern and set up accordingly!! However I got home from work today, went out to the run to let my ladies out. I quickly noticed something wrong with out oldests comb! We are very hands on with our flock and hadn't noticed before. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is odd, almost looks like the tissue is dying similar to frostbite. I don't have a clue and am curious what others might think.

Is it cold where you are at? I had a bantam who got frostbite.His comb got black and fell off. We are building a now house this year,so he will not get frostbite again.

No its typical Idaho summer. Various temps in the 90's couple in the 100's.. Acting completely normal and still laying daily so not sure what to think.
