Comb issues

Hey guys, my friends chickens comb has these scab like things on it and the chicken is limping please help, I think it might be Fowl Pox but I’m not sure View attachment 1689307
More photos of the chicken please - whole body, legs, feet (bottom of feet too) please.
Tell us about your friend's flock - does she have any roosters? How many hens?
Is the hen in the photo exhibiting any symptoms - lethargic, not eating/drinking, etc.?

Could be a touch of frostbite on the tips, it's hard to tell. Scabbing from picking and/or mating too. The color of her wattles is a bit concerning-but that could be lighting.

So sorry for your loss. Would have been good to have seen pics of the feet. Cold weather can push a sick chicken over the edge. If you still have her body, you could send her in to your nearest poultry lab or state vet for a necropsy. I am not sure about ME, but New Hampshire has a poultry lab, I think. The body needs to be refrigerated, but not frozen. Here is a list of state vets and labs:
