I just started 12 Marans eggies last night. I got a little giant and a turner on Craigslist.. I also added a computer fan

i had a hard time telling which was the pointy end of the eggs... hope I got it right, I found it was easier to tell
by feeling the eggs than looking..

OK my girls are being total pains in the butt, I got a whole two eggs today

. Ill try to kick start em laying again with some cayenne tonight and tomorrow. see if i cant get my egg count up before my set next week.

nope not yet. still fully feathered. mixed in a pretty good dose of cayenne tonight so they'll be chowin on that hopefully it will give the girls a kick in the butt and give me some eggs lol

I haven't been home yet to see if it worked. Ill mix in more this evening when i top off their feeder again as well.

I may be setting eggs this week, won't know for sure until I hear back from my egg source.

Waterfowl we may be hatching together again. lol
