Come hatch along with us!!! Last sets of the year! 10-18 to 11-7

I don't think we did, it stayed around 90 to 100 degrees F during incubation, now it's at 98. I just sprayed him so if he was shrink wrapped, I hope that helped get a move on things!

not being electronically gifted (I'm afraid of electricity, one of the few things I don't just jump into with both feet; if I have to fix a switch or outlet I turn off all the electric to the whole house and still my hands sweat and shake the whole time!) I'm a bit leary of trying to make my own bator. Are there any step by step sites I could look at? I have one of those tiny refrigerators that you use in a college dorm and such, was thinking it could become a bator. Thinking about measuring it and seeing if commercial egg turners would fit into it.

When I decided to make my own coolerbator I watched this guys series of videos and ended up making 2 of them. One with a wafer thermostat and one with the hot water heater thermostat. The first one was scary for me I was afraid I was going to burn the house down ..lol. After using it for 2 hatches I decided I wanted another to use as a hatcher so I could do staggered hatches. Both have performed beyond my expectations and keep temp and humidity perfectly.

Temps back up! Humidity is still way down though, around 60%. I will spray him though. He isn't as dark as he was last night, I'm seeing this without candling. Does this mean he will hatch soon?

IF you can lay some really wet wash rags or thick rags in there opened up flat as much as you can .Remember to get the humidity up you need SURFACE moisture not DEPTH of water
Sponges dont work well for me but the rags do the trickI
I use 2 and one sponge
Place them under the hole you add water thru that way your straw or whatever you use can be over the rag and you can keep it wet.. If you are at 60 i woud tryONE wet rag.that shoud bring it up well.
