Bunch more were piping. pulled 3 that were zipped outta the shell and left them in the hatcher to dry over night. Ill be going back up today to see what else has hatched. Bunch of real light chicks tho, from the neighbors white leghorns. They have 5 roos so they are w.leghorns dominque/w.leghorn rir/w.leghorn or nhr/w.leghorn (coming from the white eggs in this set) couple of the 24 rir's have hatched. the barnyard mixes outta my flock from my best guess would be mostly from my black australorp hen and a hand full of rir's that are laying. I really need to get a wireless camera in the coop lol. I want to know who is laying what. I keep getting a random very light egg and I'm kinda clueless as to who is laying it. I have been using a recycling bin for a lay box when the girls were bein stupid and refusing to lay in anything but a trashcan... lol. Ducks tossed the bin to get to the hay so now they are starting to use the steel lay boxes. Also made a temporary egg turner system for the incubator heh. lol Ill upload pics when i get home later
