Come hatch along with us!!! Last sets of the year! 10-18 to 11-7

I just went to make sure the bator was ok and when I moved the egg a little on the paper towel there was a tiny bit of yellowish drainage that I think came from the hole! Is this good or bad? The only reason I moved him was because his air-sack needed to be a bit more elevated. I was able to get the humidity up, using the damp rag suggestion, and it is now above 80% which is about right for ducks. Does the drainage mean that there will be a new duck soon? It wasn't red, just a darker yellow. Don't know what it is

i just put my eggs into lockdown, I added water and the wet paper towels
under the wire floor, it's taking a mighty long time for the temperature
to recover.....

by the way... I finally saw a chick moving inside

Congrats to all of you that are about to have some new chicklets! Do you think the discharge was because he internally pipped? I didn't candle today, for fear of him getting shrink wrapped again. So I don't know.

You don't candle during lockdown. If you are on day 32 you shouldn't have been candling for 7 days now.

The hole in the air pocket did you put it there? or did the duck? If he put it there thats good news. If you put it there and liquid is leaking out not so good. No smell is good.
