Congrats to all of you that are about to have some new chicklets! Do you think the discharge was because he internally pipped? I didn't candle today, for fear of him getting shrink wrapped again. So I don't know.

Is this the same guy from the other day that you made the hole for him to breath or another one?
What day is he on?

No stuff of any kind or color should be draining from the egg.

Is he still alive for sure?

Frankly I think you have to take him out if you want him alive as hasnt it been like 3-4 days since he has been trying to hatch?
Unless your days for him were somehow wrong.Could that be?

If not i dont think hes coming out on his own at this late point if its the same one.

If they arent out by 24 hours latest they probably need help or they will eventually die in there.
BUT yellow leaking out ?
.i cant even imagine what that might be if hes alive still unless he wasnt due at that date and was due like now, then maybe the yolk ,But if he was due the other day like 3 days ago? then that yolk should be way absorbed by now.
If hes been in the egg 3 days hatching and is still alive maybe its poo. He has to poo eventually Im sure in or out i would think, just a guess, but i cant see him staying alive much longer in there.
After the yolk absorbs they have maybe 3 days thats it and they have to eat and drink
If it were me ithink iwould try and pick some JUST shell away starting from the pip you made. Do a tiny bit then dampen the membrane as you go but dont open it.. Try and get a line going around the egg so all he has to pip is the membrane
BLOOD stop.
His whole membrane inside may be dry not just at the shell opening .i had one like that .PaPER dry when i zipped him out then she wouldnt break the membrane so i had to tear it some hours later then with a thread hanging she popped out.

Have you started breaking away the shell yet?I've only done it once but i slowly removed small pieces at a time.
