My legbar laid something a bit like that as her first one:
It was egg shaped and egg coloured and in the middle of the run, so I missed it when i went to lock them up.
Amazingly it was intact in the morning, so I picked it up and went to have my shower before I took a pic. Came back to find the cat enjoying it
