I guess that’s a good idea... though would it attack the chickens? We had an outdoor cat for a while who would kill mice and such, but then she decided she wanted to be an indoor cat. (She’s super old anyway, 18 years)

My cats have never attacked any of my chickens. Chicks are what you need to worry about, though. But unless a broody is raising them, you really shouldn't have a problem.

My cats are indoor only, but sometimes they slip outside. to be honest, leo is scared of the hens and ivy doesn't care about them

Get a kitten and raise it with the chickens. it should be fine

Ok, I guess I will think about it. I do like my cats! And the chicks stay inside until 6 weeks.

I really want to get a barn cat now, but I already told myself I was at pet capacity.... maybe I can think of it as pest control...
