ComeJoin Duck club!!

Can I join?

I am new to ducks. I got 2 ducklings last august, 1 choc runner and 1 blue runner. Their names are Coco Bean and Kiwi. I have had chickens for five years but the ducks are so different. They are so much fun, so social and comical. I have already ordered 2 welsh harlequins for this spring. I think they will be happier with more ducks.

So I got some 4 week old ducks a few weeks ago, and they are doing great on the grower feed I have and eating plenty of grit. But I am wondering if I need different baby duckling food and different grit for them. I figured this would be the place to ask.
I used a duck food that said it was good for all stages, but the pellets were a bit big so I used a rolling pin to break them up a bit. I also used chick grit which is a bit smaller. With the food it’s the niacin content you need to watch. Ducks need niacin and it’s not in chicken feed.

If anyone is interested, I wrote an article about setting up my duck house and ponds. When I started researching duck houses, ponds, etc. I couldn’t find much. I found a lot about chicken coops and runs, but duck info was a hard to find. Anyway, I had a greenhouse that was very underutilized so I converted it into the duck house and now the chickens are jealous. They sneak in there every chance they get.

here is the link if you want to check it out:
