commercial bucket waterer

I'm looking for a bucket style waterer that can be filled from the top without having to fill it and then flip it over. Will the traditional waterers allow you to fill them from the top like this or will the gradual increase in pressure from filling it push the water out the bottom holes. Hope that make sense to someone out there. I'm looking for something I can attach a piece of pvc to that I can fill from a storage room outside the actual coop.

You are right--the air pressure from a top-filling waterer would press all the water out the bottom holes.

If you need something top-filling, check out PVC nipple waterers. Most people use a 5-gallon bucket as a reservior.
