Yes, it is available at TSC. TSC started selling Purina feed earlier this month. They had a special on the price ($2.00 off, I think.) That's where I'm going to buy my Purina Flock Raiser.
I never knew Wall-Mart sold chicken feed but I would bet it is low quality. Tractor supply just started carring Purina feed, $12.49 for 50lb. I get mine at the local feed store for $9.99

At least some of this is simply NOT true. I have a good friend who works for Purina Mills. She has assured me that Purina makes Dumor too. I have worked at MANY plants where they make branded and non-branded products. They are made exactly the same, but without the name brand label.
Love it or hate it, Walmart is one of the most widely held stocks.
You might own some, check your mutual funds, or if no mutual funds,
if you have a bank account, the bank might hold it. So in a sense, Walmart is the ultimate 'mom and pop'.
I am convinced that there are reasons, for stores like Walmart.
I suspect that it's more than low prices, since frequently our Walmart is not the cheapest, but still busy as a bee hive.
I'm no Wal-Mart fan, but you should realize that they started as a mom and pop store too. They just did it better than anyone else. Should they be penalized for that?

I agree to a point but they crush mom and pop stores when the move in and now there are few mom and pop stores left ...I think it is a shame and i will buy from the mom and pop store before wal-mart any time.
