Casper's (estimated) birthday was Thursday. Our boy is 5 years old! He got a freshly grown batch of cat grass, which he thoroughly enjoyed

We also got him a little crinkle Lambchop toy because he loves crinkle toys. This was kind of a test because in the past he has shredded anything with catnip in it so we've avoided catnip toys, but that severely limits the toys I can get for him. I was hoping that he'd outgrown that habit so we decided to try him out with this one for the crinkles and hope for the best with the catnip. He has rolled around with it, bitten it most viciously, and licked it thoroughly, but no shredding so far

Oh my goodness. I just love how photogenic Casper is. So, I have gotten into diamond painting lately and cats make such good subjects - Casper would make the best diamond paintings! Sorry, with the new hobby comes weird thoughts - like ooh that would be a great diamond painting.
I actually love the composition of the one with the sunset.
