Polydactyly (multiple toes), polyphalangy ( split toe)and syndactyly (toes fused together) in the same mixed breed (unknown) day old standard sized cockerel chick.
The back toe on the chick's left leg is 2 toes fused, the back toe on the right leg is split, with 2 nails.
This chick is 10 weeks old now, he's not bothered by his feet at all, he can roost, run and scratch.
Apparently you can get very messy feet when 4 and 5 toed breeds are crossed and I suppose this is what's happened here.
