The look of a tank top with bra straps showing? My DH thinks thats sexy!!

I think it is seriously tacky and he's always bugging me to wear it.

One person's tacky can be another persons 'mm 'mm good!

Good example: one year we went to a halloween party and there was a lady (and I use the term loosely) wearing an I Dream of Jeannie outfit. It was a great outfit with the little cap and all. But she had to have weighed 200 LBS!!

I SO did not want to see that!!!

BUT - the way her husband looked at her! You would have thought she was the most beautiful woman on the planet.

I would wear an outfit like that in public if it would get that adoring lustful expression on my DHs face!!! So, if you see me wearing a tank top with bra straps showing just see if my husband is looking and you'll know!

Ok I have one.....

In deference to what I have seen on the bus....

Girls with a set of "Girls" that they show off with the tight low cut shirts that may or may not look good from the bust line down =

Muffin top in the front but rolls in the back from a too tight bra that makes them look like there is a set of "Girls" on the back...

I do try to politely point it out to the ones who will listen, dress standards have improved somewhat....

Have you ever tried on a pair of these? Oh. My. Goodness. I agree that they are hideously ugly. They are, however, THE most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. It's a cross between going barefoot and wearing your most comfy house shoes. I am up on my feet all day. I cannot tell you how tired my feet are at the end of the day. At a friend's urging, I bought a pair of UGG type boots. I was hooked after the first day. No more tired feet!

When I turned 40, I quit caring about what the world thinks about my clothes and shoes. I dress for comfort. MY comfort. Now, I am not comfortable with my muffin rolls hanging out and I am not comfortable wearing skinny jeans and clingy tops. My girls are too big to let roam free out in public, but trust me that they become "free range" the minute I walk in my house. I do wear ugly shoes. I no longer wear heels (OWWIE!). I wear jeans almost all winter. Jeans and baggy sweaters. I have no one to impress. People will want to be my friend because of who I am, not what I wear. I am a happier person when I am comfortable. Sooooo... bring on the UGG boots.

That's how I feel about Crocs. Finally shoes I could wear on concrete floors all day without my feet, knees and back hurting!!!! Now I do have the decency to wear black and navy blue shoes so they don't stand out that much, you won't see me in neon green or hunter orange Crocs.....lol

And for those of you who thinks everyone needs a bra, I would invite you to guess whether or not I'm wearing one! LOL I'm of the opinion that "if you can't tell, why should I?" (I love when they say that on the Suave commercials)

Some people I just wonder if they are going for the "skank" look on purpose, or if somebody just told them it looked good.....
