I have been teasing the gal that did the shopping all day - I have been telling her this was a party not a wedding reception! HAHAHA!

I mean, I can't even REGIFT an iron!!!!

I'm sorry it was no fun.

My DH's party was Friday at Shady Maple (a local all you can eat place) which is delicious, then they do a little guess game with the same three questions every year. How many hours did they work, how many jobs did they bid, and how many feet of pipe did they put in. Then they hand out bags to the guys with company shirts and stuff, then Christmas bonus, then we leave, it's short sweet, delicious, and a nice time. His company is very family oriented which is really nice.

I have had company parties in the past that were fun, and this one's failure was in no way the fault of the company, except the gal that bought the appliances for door prizes

the restaurant was so ill prepared that about 75 people left without having their dinner, at 9:30!!! that is BAD!!! It took me 30 minutes at the bar to get a bottle of wine for our table too.

But I got an IRON!!!!
