Concrete Deck Blocks

Has anyone used concrete deck blocks to put their coops on? My coop is about 3 1/2 years old and is sinking in one corner. I saw these at the hardware store yesterday and am thinking of maybe cutting off part of the supports, moving the coop to a more stable area and putting it on these (with new 4x4s). Thoughts? You can see in this pic that the front right corner is sinking. One of my girls dug a hole there, but the coop is still stable.

Chickens will dig along the edge/under anything they think is a good place to dig....
........I'm having the same problem with some concrete blocks in the run.

Thinking of burying some 1/2" hardware cloth down along the side of the blocks so they can't dig them out....
....or pavers around the base.

Even if I can keep her from digging there, that corner is still sinking and needs to be fixed.
