Remember all the times I said I was locking the incubators away after this hatch?

Well, guess what I ordered today?

Nine hatching eggs! 3 BCMs, 3 GCMs, and 3 Blue Ameraucanas. I know! I am crazy.

But, I really wanted blue eggs and I had to toss one of my two in the bator. And, I was going to be getting a couple of Marans pullets which I have now decided against. I am looking into NPIP certification and decided to follow my own rule of not adding live birds to my flock. So, these eggs will arrive in 3-4 weeks and I will be going again. I want my flock grown up by late Spring and Summer so I can hatch my own eggs.

I am weak.

Girl, don't feel bad...in August, hubby made me an incubator which holds 250+eggs and I have been saying that I will only use it once or twice...it hasn't turned off since then....yeah, it is definitely an addiction...LOL

After this hatch, if I can make it past the last week of March, I know I'll stay strong until next December.

I guess it depends upon how many of the 47 eggs in the bators hatch.

You do realize that this statement may come back to haunt you, lol. This is only my first time to incubate eggs but already I feel the addiction beginning to set in.

I am sure it is already well developed in your case!
