Update: after 4 days of epsom salt soaks I checked her feet out again and really only one spot seems to have a hard spot. They haven’t gotten any darker or really seem to have started scabbing. Not sure what to make of any of this since it’s my first bumbles. Thoughts all??

Is the hard spot a scab? It maybe the ES soaks will take care of them. They didn't look bad to begin with.

Nope the one hard spot is not Scabbed or beginning to scab. And it’s really not very hard, just harder than normal.

Well maybe it's just normal foot wear. Maybe for now just keep a watch on them. I have a Buff hen that has something similar and I am for now just watching.

She’s not limping quite as bad now but the spots are definitely new so I must have caught it early enough on. I have my ducks right outside my kitchen window so I watch them every day and we definitely caught her limping on the first day. If no scabbing happens do I assume everything’s ok?? I will still continue the soaks for a bit longer of course just to be safe.

Mine are at my back door too and it's nice because you see things faster. Yes keep the soaks up. It may develop and then again they may not the last bumble I opened was nothin like any of the others I have delt with. this was top and bottom we took her to the vet since it didn't present itself like any others she was put on Meloxicam and antibiotics after 2 weeks I opened it from the top and got out the infection.
