Confirmation of bumblefoot.....?

Usually when that small I just watch them. On a few of my chickens I have let them get to were just using a pair of sterile tweezers I can open it up and get out the kernel. No cutting.
How will I know if I need to do that or not? It’s not seemed to have scabbed after 6 days and I know you had said previously after it scabs, and the scab peels to get the bumble out if need be.

I cured my bumblefoot on three ducks thanks to this form. I would first make sure the environment is sanitary (vet suggested that to me) we did antibiotics and epsom soaks. It wasn’t easy. I also used colloidal silver and wrapped their feet (vet gave me it). Mine was worse then what yours looked like. Once it started getting better I kinda left it alone and with the more sanitary environment it went away fully. The soaks weren’t easy but definitely helped same with the antibiotics.

Hey I’m just wondering how long a bumble can carry on for? Ive been soaking my girls foot for two weeks now. About 4-5 days ago I did finally notice a scab but it’s still very much in tact and not ready to come off quite yet. Really hoping it comes off this week, I’m going to be out of town next week!

why not just leave it for now and see what it looks like when you get back if it's that small it shouldn't get out of hand before you get back.
I’ve been soaking and checking it every other day now so I will continue to do that until Friday then it’s out of my hands for a while! I’ll hope it doesn’t get worse somehow. Thank you!!

It takes a while and no sense opening it up until it’s ready.
I soaked and checked her tonight and the scab was peeling! So I peeled it off and it doesn’t feel like anything hard is underneath anymore. Could it have worked it’s way out on its own or have just been tiny and come with the scab?
