Another thing to remember is not just the leg color, or beard and muffs that makes an Ameraucana. What really makes a bird an Ameraucana is it's "type", or the shape if the birds body. You should be able to tell a birds breed by its silouet (sp), or outline. Anyone can sell a big, short haired yellow dog as a Labrador, but that does not make it a Lab.
