Thank you for all your posts. No wonder my girls are too fat. I am giving them all the chicken crumble they want and too much scratch feed too. Then they also are free range and eat grass, folage and insects all day.
I hear that if your hens get too fat the egg production decreases. I have also had two egg bound chickens in the past two years. Does weight effect that problem too?
