I have had some problems with my chickens (and got great help from this forum on another thread)...

Now I want to treat them to get rid of parasites using Ivermectin.

I could only find Ivermectin 1.5 % for INJECTION.

Can I use the injection Ivermectin to pour on by birds skin and how much do I put on? I have a syringe to measure the liquid out.

I have Japanese Bantams.

Permethrin spray will kill mites, lice, and ticks, at least here. If it's available, that would be my choice for external parasites. Ivermectin works for them too, and will kill some (but not all) internal parasites. It won't get tapeworms, coccidia, or a few others, and I've no idea what you have to deal with in Thailand!
You can give it by mouth, or as a pour-on.
There will be a dose/ pound (or kilo?) on the bottle, for cattle, and a higher one for sheep. Again, that's how it's labelled here. I go in between when dosing chickens, and use a syringe to get the right amount, and apply it to skin when they are roosting.
Here, I do 1 ml.(cc) per 100 lbs. body weight, and use a 1 cc syringe to get the amount right. Bantams are little! Mary
