I’m sorry for your loss, but am glad the suffering is over. They eye looks awful. Are the tiny balls in this photo cysts or just yolks?

It's hard to get the gut mass out without loosening from fascia then cutting the trachea and esophagus from the other end, you probably know that from slaughtering?
(not sure of your experience there...or don't remember as I often CRS)
Loosening fascia from nether end can be hard too, harder with gloves.

Are these the type of tumors/warts you saw previously?
These are on the intestine which was all wadded up, contorted into a knot almost.

Yes, thought those were yolks. She was an excellent layer. But I included them because I wasn't sure they weren't tumors. They were no where as large as that handful of "grapes" from Jim's link. They were what you'd expect of immature yolks, barely a millimeter or two in diameter.

The tumors on organs I'm familiar with look like warts all over the outside of the organs. I don't recall my cockerel's liver. The lab sent me some photos but I didn't save them.
