I definitely have a fast feathering male, among my 3 little Buckeye's. They are a smelly bunch of chicks. but all god's creatures got smells I realized....ain't a darn thing you can do about it.....but enjoy the stench.

Hello Nutmeggers,
We're rapidly approaching the deadline for designing and ordering T-shirts and posters to promote our happy chickenstock event of June 22. Still in need of helpers for this project, if you would like to committ. Perhaps we only need a poster? You be the judge.

Let me know what you're willing to contribute to our gathering....I think a poster probably comes before a T-shirt...allows us to advertise our day, and if we come up with a great concept/logo we can move forward with a T, if anyone cares to spend the money. Look forward to hearing what you all think.

Becky

In designing a poster? I'd help if I had any talent at all but I don't!

What would the poster be for? Are we going to hang them up at places?

Yes, hang them up at feed stores and such. That's if we're interested in widening the circle beyond BYC to include other CT chicken people. We don't absolutely need a poster or t-shirt though.

We will need food and beverages however! And hopefully some chickens, and ideas for activities. If you prefer, we can just wing it, pun intended.

I can bring some food and/or beverages. And I'll deffiently be bringing chickens and eggs with me. Maybe we can make t-shirts with our BYC name on them, so then everyone can recognize each other? And I think the poster idea is great! The more chickens the better, oh and people too of course

I was just checking out New Hampshire Chickenstock which is June 29th. Wow, they are really organized! They have a poster/brochure on post #74 of the thread. Don't know how to bring it over here, maybe someone can? It's worth a look.

Also realized after reading their plans that we haven't talked about times yet. They settled on 10-2. Muffins and coffee for the early crowd, pizza and soda for later.
What time frame is best for you all? And let's talk about our menu too!
