Thank you Becky and Bill for hosting!
I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed meeting all of you. I must say that I am quite thankful for the processing tutorial, and I'm really surprised at my reaction to it. PC, you culled the first one so quickly that I think it really helped me just get over the moment and move on. I can't believe I culled as well. I think I'll be able to do this and not pay someone!! self sufficiency on its way!!
Tina (the sweet little shoulder bantam) is sleeping perched on her shoe box in my room. I think it's the best sleep she's ever had. At one point she had the head turned/tucked in her back pose. I got up to go lock everyone else up and she didn't move! Another nice thing is SHE's QUIET for once! She usually never stops making noise. I'm trying to figure out if this special treatment is ultimately detrimental to her relationship with the others. I put her back with the buckeye babies (and RIR bantam, aka "momma") when we got home. She's still accepted and ate and drank with everyone. I just get mommyish when the buckeyes' and RIR's skittish behavior forces her calm self into corners and bumps her out of the food area. Should I be forcing her to stand up for herself since she does have to live with them when they're all outside?
looking forward to the coop building party! and thanks for being such COOL GREAT PEOPLE!
