I'm sure someone will take him, he's lovely! We just can't have a boy... at least not till I get my DH to build me my dream coop!

I got these three bantam Silver Spangled Hamburg hens at the Northeastern Poultry Congress in January and I just love them. I can't let Simon go until he makes some babies.

Have you put him up on the MA or NY pages? Just a thought, maybe post his picture up at Horses and Hounds in Granby? I have one of the splash marans, the other, sadly died last fall
. The other is great! She is a BIG girl, though we still call her the little chick. I've got a new Eco 20 and have started to do some hatching too! I've had 6 chicks hatch today! Sorry, I'm just a little excited and needed to share. Good luck with Simon.

Do you know what the SM died from? So sad? I almost lost one to hawks. It's been a bad hawk year for us. We lost 4.
