Thats a picture of the first chick that the silkie hatched out last night. Its all fluffed out rumpless and clean faced and since its so raw and damp out I decided to bring it inside and put in the brooder. Another one just hatched identical to this one with a tufted on one side and it's appears to be rumpless too!! But, its still has the yolk attached and is all goey to take pictures of yet.

I'd love to see pic's for your Turkeys and the Buff Cross!! I hope it looks like an Orp too!!

I hear ya on that! I have two more PIPS!!! This is so exciting this is the first time this little pullet has set and she must have been a dedicated little mamma! It looks like 6 out of 9 are going strong and I'm preying for the one bantie cochin egg she is setting on to hatch

I just had to detach the egg from the second chick b/c it was dragging it all around the brooder still attached 4 hours later
