Connecticut!

Right now I only have 4 girls; a buff barred banty cochin, a BLRW and 2 EE. I was thinking when we are ready to add to the flock (this summer hopefully) I want more banty cochins and BBS orpingtons.

Hi All,

Before I list two different birds for sale on the sale page I figured I'd list them here first in hopes I will not have to ship them.

I have a 10 month old Beautiful Bantie Lavender Ameracauna pullet. She is breeding stock not hatchery. She is just starting to lay eggs this week and last week. They are small Green eggs and her name is Lilly. She is very inquisitive and the first one in the pen to greet me every day. I will be listing her for $25.00

I also have a rumpless tufted black Araucana rooster. He is approx. 2 yro. He does have some gold leakage on his neck and his feet coloring is off. His offspring does not have the foot color trait and so far all of his babies have been rumpless and tufted that I have hatched out this year. I have too many tufted females and to get better hatch rates I am going to use my two clean faced roosters with all my tufted females. I am asking $15.00 for him. He is great with the ladies and always finds food for them. He also watches the sky all the time for the hawks and ravens that circle the pen. I will miss him but, know it will be better to just use the clean faced roosters I already have.

Let me know if you or someone you might know would be interested. I'd love to see them go locally vrs. shipped

I am currently working on Lavender Giant Cochins. I really love the cochin breed and I must tell you the giants lay more eggs than the banties or standards. Right now they are all black but, I am going to attempt hatching the babies out soon and see what they look like. Then breed them back to pure bred giant blacks

Sorry I missed the meet this past weekend! My puppy got tangled up in barbed wire and I had to stay home with him

he's better now but, I couldn't leave him. How was it? Did you go? Did you meet any new CT peeps?

Hi CT BYC'rs,

I was wondering if anyone in CT had ducklings? My girlfriend from Cheshire, CT has been calling a bunch of TSC's in CT for the last two weeks and no one has them

Sorry I lost power shortly after posting and then I had seed to plant.

My Giant Cochin Rooster weighs 13 pounds and he isn't a year old yet! One of these days I will have to get my butt out there to get a picture of him and post. He is soo pretty and funny to watch with his girls
