Hey, sorry it took me so long to reply. Hatchery birds are bred from not the best breed standard bird and breed and breed to make masS production of hatchings eggs/chicks. Its a very long thing to fully explain properly. If you only want a pet chicken that looks pretty and lays eggs, then buy any bird you see and fall in love with

. Should you decide you will definitely show a bird at a fair or chicken show, then seek out a private breeder to find you exhibition lines. Good Luck on your new chicken venture!! I hope they bring many smiles to you in the near future!!

we lost power this morning around 6:30 so me an the girls headed to homecheapo an bought a generater it came back on around 9:30 but debbie has about 600$ in chicks turkeys an peacocks in her brooder room an incubator lets hope all her eggs still hatch.to bad we had to loss power when it was freezing out.
