i WOULD LOVE TO ATTEND MY FIRST CHICKENSTOCK RIGHT IN CT. IF I HAD THE FACILITIES I'D FIGURE OUT A WAY TO PULL IT OFF

Getting a promoter who knows what he's doing, and has all the contacts would be the best way. Maybe a few local bands would donate their talent for the exposure. Then, there's finding a location, pulling permits, paying off the police, etc...

The only stock I've ever been to was nothing that elaborate....just people with their birds, tailgaiting, peeing in the woods

Oh. So a small fair type meeting, bring the birds to show off, some hot dogs and beer, a boom box...
Maybe someone knows a farmer with a field he'd be willing to lend...

Henrietta, Wow, thanks for the links. Seems this is an ongoing thing. Good thing, too. Because, on principle, I never go to the first annual anything.
If'n I had a piece of property, I'd sure open it up to this event. I do want to stay involved with it, though, and will give all the support I can.

Well Kristin, How many people were there last time? 100, 200, 1000?
Did most have chickens, or just come to look? Of course, if any food is involved, it would be pot luck. Right?
